“Breaking the Cycle is a Christ-exalting, Scripture-saturated resource that courageously addresses addiction with both compassion and clarity. This is not just a workbook—it’s a gospel invitation to deep transformation through the power of God’s grace. I highly commend it to churches, small groups, and anyone seeking true freedom in Christ.”

Pastor Jason Lim, Senior Pastor, Gospel Light Christian Church

“Jeffrey Pang has written a much needed, very timely and accurate workbook to treat addiction. His integration of spirituality, Scripture, neuroscience, and practical tools make this a valuable resource for anyone willing to follow the path to healing laid out in the book.”

Dr Eric E Dooley, Clinical Psychologist, New Life Counseling Center

“’Breaking the Cycle’ is a very important resource to aid Christians and non-Christians alike in the fight against addiction. I like the way the booklet combines Scripture and science to approach this subject holistically. It is my prayer that this booklet will be used mightily to address a clear and growing danger in the Church and Society, and to grant victory in our individual fights against addiction.”

Frederick Chew, Chairman of Gospel Light Christian Church Committee

What Our Past Participants Say

I like the camaraderie and the bonds forged amongst the participants. It is a safe place to be able to share vulnerably every week.

K

Thank you for putting this programme together. I’m encouraged and blessed by the authentic sharing and hopeful about overcoming my struggles.

N

It is a non-judgmental space and each participant was given sufficient airtime to share.

D

I like that this programme provides a safe space. It also addresses an unspoken scourge and reminds me of how to be true man. Yes, it helped to empower me with courage, discipline & endurance. It helped from a neuroscience perspective: where I can understand how my brain functions.

M

It is focused group that maintained a safe space of confidentiality. This facilitated open sharing of fears, past hurts and letting go of these. Moving forward, we were able to heal up and move on where righteousness is at.

J

I like the commitment of all members to be open to one another – confession, encouragement, sincerity, honesty, vulnerability, accountability, guidance and support.
